Fiduciary Essentials Forum

Grandover Resort The Fiduciary Essentials Forum is a basic program for trust officers, investment advisors, brokers, and others who provide fiduciary services. It also can be beneficial for support staff that often interacts with clients. This year’s forum will be held Thursday, November 8, at the picturesque Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The 2007 Forum will provide you with greater insight into the background of trusts, the cornerstones of fiduciary principals, and activities frequently creating fiduciary risk. The speakers are leading authorities in their respective professions and focus their remarks on “real world” solutions.

Program Location and Accommodations

We encourage you to take full advantage of the Grandover experience. Discover a picturesque resort nestled among 1500 acres of oak, pine and dogwood covered hills. Grandover is the perfect location, with exquisite guest rooms, a full complement of exciting recreational activities and uncompromising service.

Registration Information

We encourage you to register quickly as we must limit participation to the first 100 received. If enrollment exceeds 100 when you register, you will be promptly notified and will, of course, receive a full refund. The registration fee of $250 ($225 for groups of five or more) includes lunch at the Grandover, refreshments served at breaks, all program materials, and a certificate of attendance. Payment should be made to the Trust Education Foundation, Inc.

Speaker Biographies

Roger A. Pond is currently a partner in The Fiduciary Education Center, LLC. He is the Assistant Director of The Southeastern Trust School and the Trust Advisors Forum at Pinehurst as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the Trust Education Foundation, Inc. He holds a B.A. from Duke University and a J.D. from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. He taught for seven years in the Trust Program at Campbell following a distinguished 25-year career in the trust industry.

Becky T. Kelly is currently a partner in The Fiduciary Education Center, LLC. She is the Dean of the Southeastern Trust School and Executive Director of the Trust Education Foundation, Inc. She has been in the trust industry for 30 years – three years with the Fiduciary Education Center, three years with Campbell University and 24 years with Bank of America and its predecessors. Becky holds a B.S. from Longwood College and an M.B.A. from James Madison University as well as being a Certified Trust Financial Advisor (CTFA). She is a graduate of Southeastern Trust School, National Graduate Trust School and Cannon Trust Schools I, II and III.
